Sue Lewin is the hot chick of the week. She was muse, companion, and alleged mistress to Maxfield Parrish. She was hired at 16 to be a nanny to Parrish’s children (he was 33). She became is model and the 2 moved into the studio on his estate to “work more closely.” They lived together there for 55 yrs.
When Parrish was 90 years old and Lewin was 71, Parrish’s wife finally died, leaving him free to marry Lewin. However, he declined so she packed her bags, left the estate and went back to her village where she married someone else.
after they both passed, nude drawings were discovered of Lewin in their shared studio/home.
